When you start a fabric line, you soon realize that the possibilities are endless. It is both gratifying and overwhelming, because when do you say when? Given this opportunity because of everyone's support, we have re-done some furniture with one of a kind slip covers and cushions and have just had a blast coming up with these vibrant color combinations.

First up are these unique chairs that we have re-done in turquoise, and created a cushion with "Canoes and Oars in Vibrant Yellow", creating a welt in turquoise for contrast. When I saw them, I knew I had a vision for how great they could look, but they blew me away in completion. I cannot wait to see a cottage with these in an entry hall! These cushions were also created by local seamstress, Jennifer Skinner.

Next up is a slip covered Coral Cherry Chair with turquoise welt. We've had this in our entry way while making room in the store, and it literally lights up the space. It is cozy and sweet, and I know it will brighten up anyone's home. Sally Adams is a local genius who can create a slipcover like this. Taking our fabric and magically making it fit around a chair like this is far beyond my capabilities!

Sadie loves helping out with photo shoots. How about these precious buttons in the back?

Next up a great set of four for your porch eating area!

Rosie had to step in and show her stuff and enhance the look of these awesome Baker Chinoiserie chairs. We found the most fun blue, and paired them with birch lattice cushions highlighted with a turquoise welt.

Here you can see the detail of Jennifer Skinner's amazing talents in sewing. She always wows!

These last two I designed with my living room in mind just in case they do not sell because I fell in love with the shape of the chairs. Every single one of these projects are going to be so tough to see go because I have had such a fun time working with these local talents to come up with new ideas.

I mean, seriously? Could these make a statement or what?

The best part about these is that they are compact chairs. They don't make chairs like this anymore. Starting with the chair itself, it's a great shape and size, and I love the wooden legs showing. Then when you add Leland gal with Sally's talent in making the welts, trims, and these buttons, it's win win!

Although I had a ball shooting these outside with the company of dogs, they are for indoor use only.

Thank you for taking the time to look and dream with us! It's been such a joy imagining these up for the shop, and have a few more mini projects in the works, stay tuned!  If you have any interest in pricing, please contact me! maggie@lelandgal.com.
