Welcome to Dig Design 1968. Dig stands for “Different is Good.” Featuring revamped wearable art fueled by Motown vibes, summer sun, and Tom Boy Glam, Dig rides with you on every bold adventure.
Founder Marcia, a Midwesterner at heart with a California soul, has always been a dreamer. Growing up in the 70s and 80s on rock-n-roll, church, and sports in a big crazy family, she wore her older brother’s tees and her sister’s hand-me-downs. As a kid in the 80s, when she wanted a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt, her dad joked, “you give me the 50 bucks, I’ll sew a horse on it.”
Originally, Marcia ran Dig Outdoor Adventure (for kids in the summer) which turned into Dig Designs 1968, landing her where she is today. The Dig Design community is made up of mavericks, risk takers, givers, and soulful special individuals. By supporting Dig, you further the work of creative makers in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Wendy McWhorter of Kewadin, was featured in the 2024 Summer issue of Michigan Blue magazine for her keen eye toward depicting historic structures, farmlands and the vistas of North West Michigan. On any given day in Spring through Summer, Wendy can be seen unloading her painting gear from her Volkswagen Beetle convertible to paint plein-air the magic of Leelanau County. She is always ready to capture nature’s ephemeral beauty in her signature countryside oil paintings.
